To draw, White must take the pawn, or let it go... and use the stalemate idea. First move the knight next to the White king the pawn will move on... Then check with the knight...

1. Author: Prokesh, Ladislav (18841966). He is a famous chess composer of endgame studies. He was the joint Czech Champion in 1921 and played for the Czech Olympiad chess team in 1927, 1928, and 1930. He was born and died in Prague.
