• About the Author
Ernest Pogosjants is a famous chess composer. He was born and lived in the former USSR (1935–1990). Mathematician by profession, he was fond of chess. Ernest Pogosjants got the grandmaster title in 1988. 4 times he became the bronze winner of the USSR chess championships. He is the author of at least 2000 endgame studies. He took part in many chess composition tournaments and won at least 50 first prizes.
