Hint 1: Save the rook and move it 1 square to the right. Hint 2: Black will move the pawn. Hint 3: Pin the Black pawn with the rook for a while... At the end, don't forget the bishop move... The brave smart bishop says to the pawn, "I am your sacrifice. Take me if you like."

• About the Author
Gia Nadareishvili (1921 – 1991) is one of the most famous chess composers of modern times. He was a Georgian by nationality, and he was a neurologist by profession. Chess was the second life of Gia Nadareishvili. He is the author of 500 chess studies. He was a co-founder of the Permanent Commission for Chess Composition which is the main FIDE body for chess composition. In 1980 he was awarded the title of Grandmaster for chess composition. He published a number of chess books on endgame studies.
